Consulting Reviews When Considering The Switch To VoIP

Making a long distance phone call used to mean using your land phone line to dial through a long distance carrier that charged you often-exorbitant by-the-minute fees, because there was no competition to keep the prices reasonable. Do you have alot of overseas operations? Do you make alot of overseas calls? I am going to introduce something, that is going to boom world wide now. This tool is so powerful that you can cut your business cost by as much as 50% or even more.

Some of you, my dear valued readers might have guess what i am trying to introduce. Yes... You are right. This powerful communication tool is VoIP .

What is VoIP ? The term VoIP refers to Voice Over Internet protocol. Through wikipedia, VoIP is the routing of voice conversations over the Internet or any other IP-based network. The voice data flows over a general-purpose packet-switched network, instead of traditional dedicated, circuit-switched voice transmission lines.

Through VoIP like kazil, you can call internationally at a very low rate. It only takes US1.5cents to call to USA mobile/residential lines and to France, only US 1.65 cents. That is very very cheap. For more rates to other countries, you may visit the kazil website.

Ok... Beside being cheap. what other advantages does it has? It offers mobility. VoIP allows users to travel anywhere in the world and still make and receive phone calls. Normally for other VoIP software like skypes, it only allows PC to PC calling as well as PC to mobile/residential calling. But with kazil, it opens up the means of communication. You can call from PC to PC, PC to mobile/residential lines and even mobile/residential lines to PC. This means that you can receive and use phonecalls from anyone and anywhere. kazil acually gives you a Virtual US number for others to contact you through your softphone.

What else? You might want to ask. Can i use VoIP through my residential/existing phone? The answer is yes. You just need an equipment - IP adapter and upon initial configuration, you can use your home/business phone to make phone calls overseas at the same rate as the softphone. You do not even need to switch on your PC. it works as simple as how you would make phone calls as usual.

Things are getting excited now. This technology is going to boom. In a publication by IDA (Singapore wave - Infocomm news from IDA Feb 2006 Issue 25),IDC unveils the TOP 10 Telecommunications redictions for 2006. IDC reveals that VoIP is going to be a major force and IP telephony is will continue to gain the ground and further drive the growth of the enterprse telephony market.

Through this publication, it also mentions that Starhub has launched this VoIP Service targeted at frequent travellers, students abroad who make frequent calls home from overseas, or local business with high usage of international calls.

with such major power going into such highly potential business opportunuity. What are you waiting for? Try the technology and start reducing your business cost by more than 50%.

USB Phones, Skype Phones and VoIP Routers: Who Controls the VoIP Hardware Market?

The world of VoIP is moving swiftly away from the early days of microphones, geeky headsets and dubious looking softphone applications. These relics have gradually been replaced with much more sophisticated applications and USB phones which are a match for many of the most sophisticated landline phones available. These familiar and functional devices have begun to present a way into VoIP for those people who would rather pay more expensive phone bills than don a call-centre style headset to make calls. When one also considers the increasing availability and developing functionality of RJ11 adaptors...
